"David", in his very difficult-to-understand accent, said he was calling from '3' about upgrading my phone. Do I have an iPhone or a Samsung? I don't even have a contract with 3, so this has got to be some sort of scam. I rang off.

SCAM Indian caller with poor English said they were from a company called Reclaim and a claim that I had made had been successful and they had £300 and something money ready to pay me. I told them I had no such claim and they had the wrong number and I hung up.

This number is being used for a scam. This number called claiming to be the bank & said two large payments had been drawn from my account- one for Amazon & one international payment . I ended the call without pressing any phone keys, then phoned my bank on a trusted number: they said my account was fine & the call had been a scam.

Fraud. Caller called a friend from this number claiming to be a scrap metal merchant. Then rang me a few days later saying they had a delivery for my friend. This is a scam to claim try and deliver a high-value package and harass monies out of the recipient. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS TO THEM

When I asked where he'd gotten the number from, he said I'd "opted in to receive calls from the company", which was bullshit. Selling some sort of finance/crypto scam. Usual asian call center thicko scammer, claiming to be from social housing repair team, ffs, how thick can you get, if you're going to try scamming someone it has to be a believable company and the above certainly isn't that. They don't like being called liars either.

This number purports to send messages from Gov.uk, offering energy rebates. My wife pays the electricity bill not me so I was very suspicious when I was saved for my energy company and then the card details with which the company was paid. Pretty sure it is a scam

This is a scam, the person pretends to be from Microsoft, tries to takeover your computer, then asks for a ransom payment to recover computer.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount.
