SCAM - fraud scam- Evri claiming there was money outstanding on postage of a parcel.
Funny how over the last week, I have been getting calls from Manchester on my mobile. They alway hangup before it goes to my answer service. This has to be a sales call or fake service that has picked up on my number, otherwise they would leave a message for me to get back to them.
"This is Royal Mail. Your package has been delivered twice and there was no answer. Please press 9 for more information." Followed by a message in Chinese. Pressed 9. Connected to a person speaking Chinese. No idea what this is, so disconnected. It's obviously not the Royal Mail.

I got a phone call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. (Indian call handler) They said my computer was compromised but I don’t own a computer so knew it was a scam. Automated call A number that shows up as a local call on my landline (without prefix)..However, it is followed by the well-known 7 bleeps and a pre-recorded message saying "Thank you for calling". I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country. Why it seems to be impossible to put a stop to the company that is responsible for these nuisance calls is something I simply do not understand.
