This phone number has been an issue with my house phone. This number has appeared on my VM bill for the moths of Oct, Nov,Dec,Jan ,Feb and March before I realised I had not made the call. It appears every 12 hours as a call that lasts less than 1 minute and each call is charged at 39 pence . Does not sound a lot until you add it up over the period of time which then accounts for over £60.00.
Got a call from this number, recorded message saying my Amazon account due to run out, and £87 had been taken from my bank, if I didn't want to keep amazon to press star button. 07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.

We received a call from 0141 555 4854 with a recorded message telling us of unauthorised transactions on our card? One was £300 for Amazon and then £1, something (I lost the will at this time). I could press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to the team. I have hung up ad blocked the number.but I know they can change the number to show anything they like.
