Called me at 13.20 GMT. The line was dropped as soon as I answered. This is probably a computer generated call. A person will monitor several lines being dialled by the computer. The operator will pick up a call that gets a 'hit'. All the other lines will then 'drop out' ie hang up because the person monitoring the lines is speaking to some other poor unsuspecting victim.

Being a silent call, it was probably being used to verify numbers in its list. As I answered the call, I'll be getting a cold call from a different number later.
