Told me they were calling as id applied for a loan which had been declined. I haven t applied for any loasns and she kept insisting I had but said she couldn t tell me where id applied due to confidentiality. In the process of buying a house and the only loan id applied for was a mortgage which is already in place so very disconcerting. When I tried to question her she tried to end the call. Clearly a scam.

These companies that provide numbers in first instance need to be investigated and blocks put in place. I think the UK regulator in the field is failing us as the public. What do they actually do??? In my opinion virtual numbers and use there of including the companies that provide these numbers needs to be monitored to stop this abuse.
