I had previously been called by this number so suspect they're using a dialler as the first call dropped as soon as I answered it

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. I declined both options and checked my account online to find, surprise, surprise, there were no such transactions.
