Received the text today ! Received on the 26th Dec and referred to 24th Dec. The exact message as above “Attempted Delivery”. This following is clearly obvious “Royal Mail were in Strike on the 24th Dec”. These stupid Thieving Clowns. Told me I have suspicious activity on my account. Online gambling in the States. HSBC confirmed it was a scam call.

SCAM Fraud Banking Firstly, a test message was received on a mobile saying it was the Fraud department of a Credit Card company and they would be calling about “recent activity from your card. Expect a call from our Fraud team. Please wait for our call”. That was followed 2mins later by a phone call to the same mobile number saying it was from 02071934897 (London). Not a number associated with a Credit Card company! The male caller asked for the additional card holder by name but hadn’t called that person

I got a text message from Halifax saying a Mr Abdul Khan has successfully set up as a new payee on 2/05 if this was not you please call us on 01143600424 ref ST20F07 it’s a scam I phoned my bank immediately they have put a note on my account as a safety measure …Do Not ring phone your bank hope that helps .

Fraud!! They will try to gain access to your your Amazon account, be aware!

I received a text from this number saying my apple pay was temporarily deactivated, and a link to reactivate it. Upon clicking the link I was then asked for my name, address and date of birth, and then got suspicious when asked for my full card details. Quick look on google found it is a know scam. Beware.

Recorded message claiming to be from Amazon informing me there was activity on my card £700 they had Stopped my card and to press'1' to update. I presume this is a scam call as no more Amazon or bank queries.
