Recorded message purporting to come from BT saying I needed to phone their engineer or my Internet connection would be cut off. As I don't have Internet connection through BT, obviously a scam!

Automated call on 17th June 2022 saying from Scottish Gas. Can't remember what else it said but it said to Press 1. The minute I heard that I put the phone down. I am not with Scottish Gas anyway so presumed this is a scam call.

When I answered the caller hung up! I then tried ringing the number back, but I got an automated massage saying “you have dialled an incorrect number”!
