Automated call claiming to be from Amazon concerning a potential fraud on my account, asked me to press 1 on my phone. Amazon do not have the number that was used, this was a scam attempt.

Automated/Silent call. One of a series of calls from mobile numbers starting 077 in the space of a few days. Answered first call, where automated voice said, Your Amazon Prime membership has just been renewed at a cost of £79.99. If you want to cancel this payment, press 1. I'd cancelled my Amazon Prime membership ages ago! After the first call, screened next few calls to answer machine where no message was left, just silence. Wish these low life scum would f**k off and die!!

Fraud a pre recorded message claimed to be from Amazon said they had took payment £ 79 for Prime subscription and to press a number if any queries etc. Amazon do not have my landline and I am not subscribed to annual arrangement.
The caller ended the call as soon as I picked up.

Asked for a woman that doesnt live here so explained they must have wrong number. The caller said no matter, are a home owner then? SCAM Called claims to be from BT and ask you to download Quick Support to test your connection. Once they get the 9 digit ID they can then see your screen They ask you to log into websites, copy the url to 'test' the connection. Luckily my pw auto logs in, so I didn't type it. Be wary as on the BT website it does say they wouldn't ask you to screen share
They pretended to be from EE and wanted to give me a better phone deal. They are not from EE and they had no idea what deal I have at the moment.Don t talk to them.
