I answered this before it went to answer phone (no messages left when connected to it on previous calls) and got a load of waffle about loft insulation problems. I had a missed call from this number but when I tried to call it back it doesn’t ring it just makes a long beep tone like it’s not an active phone line. I have also internet searched this number with no results. I believe this number to be a scam.
Banking scam. Tried to get me to move money into a new "safe" account. Told them where to go and hung up. Please beware of this type of fraud.

SCAM number showed as 01942794042 however, it was definitely from a call centre and the female voice started the call with "thank-you for connecting with BT" which seemed odd. Turns out it was one of those dodgy activity on your internet connection calls - as usual I denied having and internet connection a mobile phone and even a landline. If I don't press 1 or not get in touch with an 'officer' a warrant will be issued immediately and they'll come and arrest me right now!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha h ha ha ha ha come on then come and arrest me you bell ends. ???? If you get a phonecall from the 'HMRC' stating this rubbish, have a little giggle and end the call.

Call center claiming to be Carphone Warehouse trying to "sell an amazing deal for our valued customers". Needless to say, told where to go!
Has now phoned a few times over the last couple of days. Mainly silent when answered but once they did ask to speak to a Mrs Cross. They hung up when told nobody of that name lives here. Last silent call was at 8.30am this morning.
Have called several times but I havent answered as I have been conned by overseas scammers before and suspect this is another one.
On checking with O2 the above number and caller WAS a genuine call from O2. Apologies O2.
