I picked up, cloud hear them talking to someone else in the background, then they hung up. Presumably cold-calling multiple numbers at the same time and someone answered just before I did.
This was a fictional number used in the drama series EastEnders for the Slater Household in 2002. It may have since been allocated to a genuine customer or business.

Randomly called said she was from sky and said our internet is slow. Tried to get us to download and app called quick support. This app allows people to remotely access your phone. Very dangerous as the can get so many details this way. We questioned her and she hung up. Called back and metro express answered, Im guessing this number is used for numerous amounts of scams. SCAM - i think they were a scammer, (I'm not positive but they usually are these unknown numbers). They were phoning from outdoors in Trafalgar Square in London, so they could literally be anyone, they weren't a business, (they weren't one of those that hung up immediately, they waited until after I spoke). They phoned twice that day.

Recorded message reporting unusual activity on my credit card. One transaction from Amazon and a foreign transaction for 999 pounds. Press 1 to authorise payment or 2 to speak to an advisor Strongly suspect this is a scam. As it was a local number I tried to call it back later and got unobtainable signal. Beware.

Robot voice says this is visa calling, saying they have stopped my card due to a high volume of transactions to China.. Then tells me to select an option… I shut the call off at that point. A nasty fraud call.
This phone number must be a scam, tried phoning back and tells me its an incorrect number and looks like the call is from France and I'm in UK.

14.04.22 SPAM call telling me some one has used my card and spent £300 and £1000, Press 1 for customer services.
Unknown to me therefore I treat as a scam.
Scammers pretending to be from Three contacting ex customers of Three for final payments. Threes payment number is 0800 033 8033 so it is close. Three send final bills by email so no need to contact anyone from an 0800 number.

Apparently from Reed Thornton - calling from spanish number. Potential scam if you let it go further than telling them to remove you from whatever list they have -which they won't of course. They can't even bother to make their website redirect http -> https so obviously dodgy.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Reported to the ICO

Received a call from this number (07922591295). Its a scam. A voice telling us that we had an £800 on line gambling charge on our our Visa card in America that they (presumably Visa or our bank?) thought was suspicions and was on hold. To stop it we just needed to respond by pressing 1.
This one messaged to say a direct debit has been setup in favour of O2 for £345 and to call back on 03301654384. Looks like a scam.
