SCAM recorded voice claims the call is from BT Internet to say that there has been suspicious activity on my account. Invites me to press 1 to talk "To an Executive to resolve the issue". Said he was from Domestic and General asked for my name, and then said he could not hear me could I give it again which I did. I had cancelled a insurance with D & G and thought they were ring to make me change my name. He then asked for the first name of my address and post code, and again said he couldn t hear me and asked me to repeat it again. This is when I got suspicious and hung up. I rang D & G and they apparently do not keep a record of outgoing cals.
Purporting to be from btopenreach. Wanting us to change something on our router. Couldn't understand "george's"accent. They have called 3 times today.

I received a fraudulent text from this number, purporting to be from HSBC Bank. It stated that I had authorised a transaction for £240, and if this was not me then I should click the link. Since I've never banked with HSBC, there was even more reason not to click the dodgy link.
Message sent claiming to be my child and to block their old number and text this new number from now on. I asked which child and was told to guess... amazingly I guessed the name correctly! (even though I have no kids). I'm guessing this long lost child would probably eventually ask for some money or something...
SCAM - scam baiters who bought Sky number ranges and are cold calling victims trying to claim to be the ISP. Tosser kept calling me "bro". I first asked him to confirm my IP address (dynamically allocated) and he gave me something he made up - that didn't have all 4 sets of numbers. Sky have been asked about this and aware of these scammers.
