Complete scam - were aware of the accident but a complete chancer with the details - their pitch was that the other party at fault were claiming injuries and as I wasn t at fault they had reserved cash for my injuries and therefore wanted to know what injuries I had sustained - which were none in a < 5mph "nudge"
The number was DWP in Chester which ignored but they rang back on my landline

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438707xxx range (I use the app from these pages, no problems)... People did someone answer this number?
