I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. I have replied my name is correct but I didn t met any accident and applying claims. Man with Indian accent said his name was Ray Hamilton claiming to be calling from HMRC and said I was due nearly £500 in tax rebate. Asked for my card details but didnt give them to him as it is a scam. HMRC wouldnt ring to say you are due a tax rebate let alone ask for your card details on the phone.
