Fraud carried out via a Metro Bank Account sort code 23 05 80 using various account numbers and Metro Bank don't seem to be concerned. Has been reported to own bank and Action Fraud. Female who claimed her name was Grace Parker used this number to try and scam my 75 year old father in law out of £400 using a scam involving Nationwide building society. luckily the transaction was stopped in time and he didn't end up £400 worse off. It was a recorded message with a very polite womans voice stating she was from bank security advising that there was two suspicious transactions from my account one was £300 pound from Amazon and the other was a card transaction from abriad of £1300. The recorded message then asked me to press ONE to speak to an advsor. I hung up the phone immediately and called 1471 the call was timed at 1345 hrs on 26-01-2023,
So pleased I looked this number up here , was about to buy tickets , thank you for the warnings people and hope you can get your money back through your rights
