guy rang saying he was from talktalk tech department and i had errors showing with computer. wanted to know what it was and to turn it on. i then hung up. is it a legit talktalk number?.
Claims to be from three offering a 40% discount deal.
Tech dude, all fine.
Asked for me by name. I asked who was calling. He said it was in response to my putting my name down for more information and asked me what kind of investing I was looking to do. I answered "where was it that I put my name down?" *click* he hung up immediately. He never called back (that was yesterday) Very dodgy.
This was a recorded message to say illegal activity had been on my internet which would be cut off in 24 hours. I was to press 1 to speak to someone. Clearly an attempt to get into my computer so cut it off.

Charges of 64p are made to your mobile number for messages you receive and are listed on my 3 network bill as “Message Event”.
