I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. I have no idea how you made this a number from Russia, no idea what or who it is, just rings and hangs up, so blocked. DON'T EVER ring back, if they don't speak it's of no use to you, and is one of the ways to rip you off, because it registers as a live number and they docan sell your number onto other scam lists; and the number can get diverted to a premium number that will cost you serious money, search it before anything else, and report when it's bad.

01294449902 called 08:06:22 at 11:50 hrs. Caller asked for a person by name, not me, ended call.
Female asked politely how I was then what handset I had. Said I do not want contact and told her she is breach of Telephone Preference and Information Commissioner. She hung up. I expect many more fraudulent calls now!
The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
