Called at 12.30 pm 7.3.22. This number supposedly from Manchester area is unknowm to me. Unable to get to the phone and left no message on ansaphone.
Accident Calling from "the insurance company" when I asked him which one he just said about the accident I'd had. I asked which accident, as I've had a lot recently (I haven't needless to say) to which he replied the minor bump in the car. When I told I'd had a few of those in the last couple of months and I was worried that they were going to take my licence off me, but I didn't think it was my fault, even though they all said it was .... then the line suddenly went very quiet. :-)

Calls from this adress has been reported for half a decade now ( 2018+)
SCAM First of all said they were from Windows, wanted me to turn on my computer so they could stop the hackers who had been trying to get my personal information. They said if I didn't turn on the computer now they would block everything, stop it from working and the hackers would use my information to get access to my accounts. When I asked them to speak to someone in the house who works in IT security they rang off quickly.
"We've had to stop your card due to some unusual activity. Did you use your card for 195.90 GBP? If yes reply YES. If NO, Call 08004370296 or +4408004370296". As others, I don't bank with Halifax.

Called to offer me a iPhone 14 Pro Max & Samsung, didn’t get the model. Then asked for what phone I had. The woman had a very strong Indian accent so I had you keep asking her to repeat what she was saying. Eventually she gave up.
Automated call, said failure to respond would result in charges against me, gave me a case number, seemed to be to do with national insurance, wanted me to press one. I hung up.

Fraud/SCAM Pretends to be Revolut, they knew my name, home address and email address used with Revolut. Claimed my card ending NNNN was added to new device, tried to get more information. When I asked how do I know they are Revolut, they said I can check number at the back of the card. Wanted to confirm my last transaction - if I shared information they would be able to possibly attempt access recovery on my account. The caller number can be easily spoofed. Wanted to talk about my life insurance policy but said it was an "AIG policy" which it isn't. When questioned on this he repeated the same thing once and then stealthily changed it to say he was working with my provider and AIG. Double checked and the two companies don't appear related. He then started on the spiel where he called it a personal policy which it isn't. Let him continue to waste his time and then told him the truth when he asked at which point he hung up on me. Total scam BS.

According to map location both calls originated from the same place, a few miles South East of Great Mitton. Number originates from O2 system.
