I called back this number and a Indian male INSTANTLY picked up. He knew my name. You could hear another 100 or so people in the background. He claimed I was 1 of 3 finalists in a competition. When I asked the name of the website the competition was on he said "Amaz-and-oes". Hung up at this point.

Has called 4 times over the past year leaving a voicemail each time claiming to be from fraud prevention from Halifax bank. I received a call from this number (I am in the United States). No one seemed to be on the other end of the call when I answered.
PERVERT. a MAN posed as shelly asking for a perm. asked for our address (i am a mobile hairdresser) and then started sending dirty messages. i only found out this was a man when i phoned it back off of 141 blocking my number. sick in the head! beware!
I suggest you folk get a BT8500 Advanced Call Blocker phone. You can block it or only allow it to go to answer phone. I purchased a quad set for handling all these unsolicited calls. They are brilliant and as far as I know, the only phone to do this.
