Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. Phoned me few times in the last 3/4 months. Its machine, not a person. They are telling me they are HMRC, I have tax fraud and if I won't contact them they will arrest me immediately. Hmmm part time work and a tax fraud and still walking free... When you call them back the number is invalid. Every call from them is from different number, the last number are different.

NUmber appears to be from a company alled DeVere's. A financial services company who offer finnancial services such as wealth planning, tax optimisation schemes, moving final salary pensions to tax shelters abroad, etc. I have had no personal dealings with the company and cannot comment on their service. I was cold called. I assume they saw that I was a former employee of a blue chip company and they offered to move my final salary pension abroad. They could be perfectly legitimate, I cannot say.

Insulation How dare they hang up on you when they have just tried to force you to agree to an appointment with one of their guys to check out your loft insulation! Quite plainly a scam as any half decent company would not pay their staff to be so rude
Foriegn caller from number 01392274111 said he was calling from BT open reach and that I had a problem with my broadband, that I wasn't receiving the service I should be. When I said I didn't have any problem with my broadband he abruptly hung up. Blocked. Something needs doing about these scam callers.
