someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.

Fraud. Got a call I didn't answer. They left a voice mail it wasn't a person it sounded like a generic message. It said there was something wrong with my financial account and then said I'll be arrested ( they spelt out the word arrested) I have 2 phones the one they rang is the one I use for fam/ friends it's not the one attached to any of my bank account/ online shopping. There is absolutely no reason any business should have that number.

If this was my bank they would identify themselves as such, and offer data to prove this. This is likely a scam, and best thing to do is hang up. As per the first comment, I received 2 texts 5 mins. apart claiming that EVRI hadn't been able to deliver a parcel........that I'd never ordered.......probably asking for banking details in the provided link.
Call center maybe. Rings two to four times a every day even on Sunday for a number of months. Today three phone calls from whoever and it's 13:11, so I suspect there will be more today as this phone number rings me in the afternoon and evening too, even 9pm.
