They came up as on my phone as "Netring" with a red flag by it.. I didn't answer... (never do if unknown/unexpected) So I googled "Netring" and the phone number correlates.. https://netring.co.uk/pages/support/ I'd say more marketing but to what end?? Steer clear.

I live in East Yorkshire. Tel. No. 01274 318449 called on my landline while I was out. I don't have an answer machine so haven't a clue who this is so cannot say anything negative about this number.

I played along to see what the method was and she asked me to download an app to my phone which would allow her to take control of it. Clearly looking to get people's account and card details too. This call was made from an extremely noisy office, where the background noise was so loud that I had real trouble hearing the person on the line. They offered to call back - and did so, but about an hour later. They said they were calling from my phone company about an upgrade, but when I asked them to confirm which phone company, the caller got very annoyed (raised voice) and defensive - and most importantly, couldn't tell me which phone provider asked them to call.
