Over a three week period I’ve received a number of text messages from this number claiming to be Legal & General. Apparently they would like to speak to me regarding my life insurance. My life cover is provided by another company.
Don't know what caller this was as they never said their lines...but I can tell its a call center.
Asked for the wrong name and when I politely told her this she aggressively told me to "no, you listen!" before telling me I qualified for some nonsense win.
Just had a call from this number saying they were from National Accident Line. Definite scam. They were asking about an accident I had a few months ago and that I was due compensation. I strung them along. "Glad you called, I went through all the details with your colleagues weeks ago. They said I was due £8k in compensation'. 'Sir this is the 1st time I've called you.' Said they were from the 3 network and the caller with a strong Indian accent said his name was John.deffo a SCAM
Indian accent claiming to be EE running a promotion. He ask for some pretty personal information. Name, address etc things EE should already have on file. Did not know the branch he was working from and was pretty adamant to get card info to enroll for the so called promotion but I had already picked up that it was a scam so no information was provided.

SCAM!!! We had a ‘New Customer’ approach us and ask for a quote so we sent over a New Customer form to make sure we could offer a credit facility. They filled in the details of a reputable company so passed the credit check. However, when it came to payment due date, the phone number they provided no longer works and emails are coming back with an automatic reply each time from various different email addresses. I have searched each of these email addresses and they show up on a few scam websites.
