Pain in the neck, same person called me twice in 1 hour!

Had a few calls from this number, that just hang up when answered. Can hear talking the background. No idea what/who.

I had a financial review meeting booked via Cpr. I found the whole process to be very good. The appointment was booked and confirmed by Cpr then the advisor. Will full FCA authorisation. Giving me all the information I needed to check the firm out before the meeting. The advisor has sorted out my old pensions, poor performing investments and sorted out I seriously underinsured, in relation to my mortgage, something I would never have known. Very worthwhile. 100% not a nuisance call or scam

This seems to be a company called Barrhead Travel in Renfrewshire as checked on Company Check. There is no information person or financial information submitted to companies house. It is not a Limited Company.

I ve been called 5 times today from this number. The caller is difficult to understand in a heavy Asian/Indian accent. Scam regarding insurance.

Fake number. UK area code 0119 is not currently in use.

Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.

Phoned saying their name was Chris and was a local home energy adviser in the the area. They started off by saying that they understood I was the home owner and was this correct...

No-one spoke when I answered the call. The caller rang off.

Cold called me to offer cheap subscription offer on Mojo magazine as I had bought one back issue. As soon as I said no this female caller dropped the call with no apology or further comment. Felt like it must have been a scam.
