I have been called on about six occasions stating that I was involved recently in an motor accident and before I let them go on I told them no and then hung up. Being fed up with keep getting these calls I tried to phone it back only to find out that it is an invalid number. Obviously some sort of scam.

These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". Called twice and asked for Sky account holder. I told them I couldn t speak then but to call back later. The number looks legit but when I tried to check it out there was a message saying the callers message box was full - not good. They did call back as suggested but then no-one was on the line.

He was obviously reading from a script. When I started asking more questions he asked if I was the homeowner and I said no I’m their daughter & they hung up! Very suspicious to me.
