This call centre deals mostly with Ambulance Chasers - road traffic accident, PPI - insurance claims management, the company is mostly reported as National accident bureau or AAB Legal.
Educated English voice. Asked for me by name (though I didn t confirm it). Claimed to be ringing about washing-machine insurance. Told him I was signed up to TPS. He immediately hung up. I have reported the call to TPS.

Caller asked for Managing Director. When asked about the subject of the call told me that she could only disclose it to the Managing Director. After much irritable discussion it transpired that Nova Technologies were sending a Tablet. That it was a present. For free. Very strange call. All the hallmarks of a nuisance.

Don't usually answer a call unless I know who it is and it's logged into my phone but this number has called a few times so today I answered it & responded as I always do to any number I don't know by asking "where did you get my number?" - they don't answer the question. I just repeat, "where did you get my number?" and repeat repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat .........until they get bored & hang up. They don't call again!
This caller knew my name (but not my correct surname- so not bonafide) and claimed that they had my information because I had been involved in an accident and they were handling the claim. I have not. And when I told the man this, he changed the tack and claimed that someone else had given me as as a contact for their own claim. Nonsense. No one would have done that, or know to do that (the mobile number is not readily available). Three hours later they rang again and, when I answered, hung up. H

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases free boiler replacement scam). I recommend to block the whole 84305006xx range... Did someone answer this number?
