SCAM just about to check my accounts ( just in case I’m wrong!) but it was a recorded call alleging a suspicious transaction to a money transfer service. No bank id provided and asked to press buttons to connect to “service team”
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 20380898xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, accident chasers, but also financial services, sometimes reported as a call centre working for this group - Global data collection company - if you want to be removed from their list use this link : http://www.gdcc.com/prevent-calling/. Woke up this morning after being so all night with an unsettled baby. Had 4 missed calls all within 2 mins. Literally 4 rapid calls!! Thought somebody was urgently looking to speak to me and tried to call them back. The number just beeped twice and the call ended. Came on here to see that they’re tele sales so next time they call I’m reading them the riot act!
