SCAM Must be a scam this number randomly called me today. Automated voice saying it was HM revenue & customs claiming that there was a fraud case in my name that I needed to press 1 to speak to the officer on the case. That if I didn't sort it then I'd be arrested shortly. Load of bollacks if you ask me didn't bother pressing 1 & hung up straight away soon as the automated voice got out what it was obviously programmed to say. Probably would have tried to get some sort of financial detail

Automated/Silent call. One of a series of calls from mobile numbers starting 077 in the space of a few days. Answered first call, where automated voice said, Your Amazon Prime membership has just been renewed at a cost of £79.99. If you want to cancel this payment, press 1. I'd cancelled my Amazon Prime membership ages ago! After the first call, screened next few calls to answer machine where no message was left, just silence. Wish these low life scum would f**k off and die!!

He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious. SCAM it is a man who comes from a date app and start texting and says he loves you and want to marry you then he suddenly has a new contract job in Asia (Malaysia) but he requests your address because he will send some gifts and when he come back from his "mission job" he will buy tickets to visit wherever you are. Then you text and the number has been blocked and he mysteriously vanishes from the earth. Be careful.

SCAM. 0710721862 called. Began asking whether gas boiler due for update. Iliterate - could not read his obvious script - English is clearly not first language. When I was asked the age of the boiler I said it was installed 9 months ago. He did not understand and got confused. I suggested he went back to school and he hung up. Could be attempt at identity theft or something more sinister. Number now blocked.
