I used ring back - not a good idea on reflection. The male voice asked my name and so I asked his. He said "Roger". I felt this was a bit inadequate and so asked again at which point he got stroppy: "I ve told you". I hung up.

I've had another call from this number, the second in under an hour, & yet again the call was ended as soon as I answered the phone. If the b******s ring again tonight they can speak to my ansaphone.

Well, after a couple of days of peace and quiet from this number.. they ve started again, with a VENGEANCE! I have reported them to EVERYONE they can be reported too, and now, im on plan B! FYI if you re on "talktalk" you can set up "last caller barring" which allows you to block up to 10 numbers from ringing you :) and its FREE!! im in the process of setting this up now, and hopefully it will stop all this nonsense! Text Messaged They said they were Hermes and that I’ve missed my delivery. I wasn’t expecting anything and there was no record of anyone trying to deliver anything recorded on my front door camera. When I went to ‘reschedule a delivery’ they wanted to charge me and asked for my credit card details. That’s when I became suspicious and Hermes doesn’t ever charge for a redelivery. BE CAREFUL!

SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.
