Just had a call from 0161 609 3325 with an automated voice saying they were from the Tax office and I was being investigated for fraud and if I didn't press 1 to be put through then the police would come to arrest me! Can't find anything on this number online.
Really annoying silent phone call to my mobile. If someone has misdialed then at least apologise and then hang up, don’t leave it open for 5-8 seconds on a silent call then cut it off. Not even a mobile number which they usually are.

Asian male, very aggressive, calling from Brummie Refunds, Birmingham. Trying to con ppl into PPI refunds. Safe number This is a company called reassured. They deal a lot with sun life insurance etc. If you've applied for life insurance, chances are this firm is ringing to verify your details.
