The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. SCAM!!!!! Says it's a bank alert but doesn't say which bank so I hang up straight away. they call 2 to 3 times a week. Checked with my bank and it wasn't them.

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.

I answered the call & was asked if he can speak to Mr. Davis. I said "You have the wrong number as there is no one living here of that name". Missed the first bit but then mentioned magistrates court and taking it seriously and to talk to one of the officers dealing with the case press 1 - blocked!

The phone is a scam, when dile back you are informed that you have incorrect number.

This evening while I was at home I received the following text from 07719055214. “Simon attempted to deIiver your parcel today but no one was home. To reschedule a new deIivery date, visit: https://fedex-gb.com” This is a fake email address. The real Fedex website is https://www.fedex.com/en-gb/home.html The people sending texts from this number are Scammers committing Fraud.

Possible life Insurance scam, someone called me about life insurance and that terms had changed and i should move my policy to one of their others as i may not get any payout at the end of policy,they knew insurance provider, name d.o.b address,,this may well be real but i was not taking a chance as they sounded asian ( Sorry if this offends but most scammers seem to be asian etc,) ended call and blocked number, im sure my insurance company woud send me a letter advising me anyway.
