Received a call from this purporting to be an insurance underwriters.

This is about the 5th similar Sheffield number making repeat and unsolicited calls to my phone. We have a call handling service and they don t leave a message. I have now blocked this number too.

Number is one of Scot Call s many. They are part of Mackenzie Hall group. and collect old debts, that can be 10 - 20 years old. By law most debts over 6 years are void. The calls are usually automated or ask for personal info. Hope this helps.

Either phone rings and there is an engaged tone when I answer, or I answer it and it seems to be from a foreign call centre threatening debt collection, court and bailiffs when no one in my home even uses 3! I ve asked them 3x on the phone, 2x by webform, and 3x in writing to never contact me again, but keep being ignored. Not acceptable. Silent call

Called me cold enquiring speculatively enquiring about an alleged accident. They told me they had been sent the report regarding it and then asked me what date it was. When i told them they should know if they had any report they rather rudely and abruptly hanged up. Rude, intrusive, unprofessional and blocked.

I have had this number call me about once a day for the last couple of weeks. Each time I answer the line goes dead. I m assuming its an auto dialer and there s no agent available to take my call when the line connects. I have now barred them on my phone. Time wasters.
