Weird phone call. Called me up on Skype and all you you hear is a voice saying "please hold the line". Call the number back and it instantly gives you the error tone.

They ve called several times this month to "update our systems". They re a damned nuisance!

Ringing me quite a few times within a week, more than my mother calls. I won t answer it but they are spending less and less time waiting for an answer. Chumps!

I keep getting calls from this number:- +441616673230. Typically, they ring off before I can answer. I ve tried ringing back and a recorded message tells me "not to worry" and that they will call me again later. There are three Google pages about this number and no-one knows any more than I do!

Has called twice, first time no answer, second time answered to a woman with a Birmingham accent. Despite being on the TPS they still called. Using a mobile number they obviously use people working from home to cold call. Have now blocked.

Answered and guy started to talk (I think) with a lot of people chatting in the background. Then phone went dead. I have now programmed my new Panasonic phones to block this number in the future. What a good investment they were.

Further to the preceding comments by Sharon and BlackGarroch, this phone number is undoubtedly SPOOFED! (fake, fraudulent), because it is 12 digits long and therefore not valid ...

This is Maidstone Police Station. Ignore people who say it s not. I went into the police station to report a motorist for smashing into my car and leaving the scene, spent an hour with a detective and that same detective called me using this number a few minutes ago. This is DEFINITELY Kent Police.

Indian scam artists who call themselves John and Michael who want personal information for identity theft. They are a BT customer and I e-mailed CEO, BT and no response. Now blocked but they will use another number.
