Called me today, knew my name. Started telling me that I was in debt and that they have a scheme blah blah blah, rambled on for ages and the finally asked if it was something I was interested in. To which I told him that I don't have any debt and it sounds like b*llsh*t to me. "so you have just wasted my time." was his comment and he hung up on me.
Complete silence when answered - unnerving and unnecessary nuisance call.

Told me that many complaints about loft insulation being a health issue. Lady started to ask me if I had loft insulation but I then told her I was too busy to answer any more questions and put the receiver down. This is called cold calling and I thought this was illegal.

We have friend's numbers programmed into our phones. If the phone rings and no name is shown on the screen, DON'T answer it! They can always send an SMS - they have my number anyway! Never, ever answer an incoming call from an un-recognised number. Voice message left-sang a short chat then said something unrecognisable followed by "for what". Phone blocked it as spam.
Silent call. Looked like a local call so being concerned that it may have been from Doctor/Hospital I called back. Got "The number you have dialled has not been recognised please check and try again". Probably a scam call sending fake number on caller display. Stay safe all.
10/03/22 at 10.37am. I answered with hello. A man said; "I'm fine and if somebody has complained about me I'm fine. Goodbye" He then hung up. He sounded angry. I have no idea what this call was about. To-date (in the 27 years I have had this number) I have never had a 'wrong number' type of call, as far as I am aware it is not similar to any local business/official numbers!
