Unsolicited and wasn't expecting a conference call (given that most are set up beforehand). Just hung up without accepting the invitation to press *1...
Do not click the links provided. For me it was "Hi Kerry Marsh, our advisor will be with you really soon. Check to see where you are in the queue at: [insert dodgy link here]." This number keeps keep calling me (4 times in last 24hrs) on behalf of another company (UK Claims or something) regarding a motoring accident my husband is supposed to have had. I don't know if they are trying to get money out of him or get money for him, but as soon as I tell them that they are not ringing his phone, they end the call - until they ring again.
I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. So far the numbers who have called me are as follows: 01978 638019 01978 638253 01978 638486 01978 638995 I just wish I had bought a better landline phone to block these and other nuisance spam
