Number had hung up by the time I got to the phone (about 5 or 6 rings). Checked my phone contacts and it isn't a number that's called me before or one I have called.

This number is an agency which runs lifeline fobs for the elderly, the agency called to say my mums alarm was going off and alerted me as they could not contact her. Genuine number

UNICEF they have your number and keep calling. Don't think I will txt another donation, shame as it's a great idea just getting sick of being hounded :(

Same as others. Several calls - Indian accent - "how are you today." Intro. Tempted to tell them I was fine until they called. What can be done?

Scouse lad calling from a motor accident claim company, asking if I d been in an accident recently. Told them I hadn t (I d had a minor bump a few months back but no injuries to either party, but I m not telling them that). Surprisingly the advisor actually offered to take my number off their database (whether they will or not is another matter).

The lady started off by explaining that she wasn t trying to sell me anything. I asked her to speak to me in Gaelic and she hung up.
