Similar to other comments - caller said he was from Microsoft and said my computer had been sending them warning messages. Wanted me to log on so he could fix it ! He was a bit confused when I said I only had Apple computers and not Microsoft and then hung up when I told him that I would refer this to Action Fraud!
Rang evening and next morning both silent calls.
Received SMS pretending to be HMRC saying I was due a rebate. Included a link to website where, it said, I could verify my identity. I did not follow the link, of course. Reported to Action Fraud as phishing attempt.

SCAM Called claims to be from BT and ask you to download Quick Support to test your connection. Once they get the 9 digit ID they can then see your screen They ask you to log into websites, copy the url to 'test' the connection. Luckily my pw auto logs in, so I didn't type it. Be wary as on the BT website it does say they wouldn't ask you to screen share
Nuisance call. Don’t call back as you will be charged up to 60p per minute. BLOCK NUMBER on your phone. Any numbers that start with 0752 etc will change you to call them. SPAM and NUISANCE.
