I had a call from Barny White who asked for my husband. I put the phone down, he immediately rang back and said he was from NCPS Nuisance call Prevention Service. I am ex-directory and am also registered with the telephone preference service, yet I had two missed calls on my caller display from this number today. When I rang back to see who it was, I got a recorded message saying "you have dialled an incorrect number. Please check the number and redial." Obviously an untraceable number. Called claiming to be from HMRC. Recorded message from a female with an American accent, calling herself Agent Sarah Wilson. Said to not ignore the message. I know this is a scam but I called the number. The phone was answered by a male with an Indian accent, claiming to be HMRC. When I questioned this he just hung up. Another number now on my blocked calls list!!
