This number called my landline this morning but was left unanswered. I’ve just attempted to call back using another phone but got no reply. Since only a few trusted friends call my landline though, I do get plenty of junk/spam calls, I suspect this caller was one of the latter
I believe this number was used on a scam email purporting to be from BT asking me to update my profile or I would be cut off.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. Tried to scam me by calling my phone and asked for my email address. Then I was told to check my email for a password to allow her to add me to her address list because she allegedly lost her list. When I checked the email message it was a code authorizing to reset my Facebook password, so I did not give the information. This person was even messaging in our native dialect. She avoided talking to me live though when I answered her call the first time, and just sent the message asking for my email.

On answering the call the caller said my electricity account was due to expire. It is not, in fact it has another 12 months to run from February 2023. The caller spoke with an accent. Due to this the call was ended.
