I'm not sure about this call at all, he said his name was Alex (but I can't remember the name of the company he was calling from). He kept asking me to repeat my answers - even if it was a simple yes or no, I didn't repeat, I just asked him a question - this only happened twice before he hung up on me. I've read that there are some scams where the called attempts to get you to say some key words to record them. I don't know if this was one of those calls - but he did give up really quickly. Definitely left

This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. TAXES / HMRC - obviously recorded/robotic male voice claiming to represent HMRC and telling me to press 1 to be connected, if I don't press 1 a warrant will be issued and I will be arrested. Clearly nonsense and a scam but potentially worrying and so dangerous in my view.
