I have a watch that notifies me of any calls coming through and the number which is annoying, especially when I cannot access my phone at work. SCAM, very clever scam claiming to be from Barclays mobile banking, they send you a sms message first informing you that a new device has been registered to your mobile banking app. They request you to call the number quoting a code they sent, when you call the number, they already have your name and welcome you by your name. They then request you to log in to your banking app and generate a code. (The one I gave them was NICE TRY A-HOLE) the person said thanks and hung up. Be very careful

Received an SMS from this number claiming it's from Royal Mail asking me to pay £2 for delivery, otherwise my parcel will return to sender. On the link which was looking like legit Royal Mail fill-in page, one was supposed to put all his details. It's really interesting that in that day, Friday, I was waiting about 3 deliveries. Similar experience to Tuglet ... Caller claimed OH had been getting lots of nuisance calls, I said no, he never picks up the phone unless he knows the number and if our phone does not block them automatically, then I did and put the phone down. Now polite I know but expected the hard sell.
