I keep receiving a phone call every day about 4.00pm from this number and when I answer the phone is put down....I presume because they shouldn't be ringing a business numb...

This number called my mobile. I did not answer, but wanted to check the number out first. there was no bad report on the number. when I tried to return the call there was no answer then a "click" in the line and a message that the "other person had hung up". this makes me think it s somebody trying to sell you something nobody wants

Called twice by this number from Gretna area. I rang back. Recorded message said they were Media Match!!and that call was not important.

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Called today, asked for me by name (worrying as he said he got my number from price comparison sites, not possible as I always give 999999etc) said he was phoning to overhaul my life insurance .I have been registered with TPS and ex directory for decades.

Called and an automated but very convincing message said she was calling because I d been in a car accident that wasn t my fault (I haven t). The script is timed to coincide with your answer, most likely a phishing or other scam to get personal details.

Yet another unknown Liverpool number calling my mobile. They didn t ring long enough to go through to answer machine. Have added this number to my "auto-reject" list...

got phoned on that number. they hacked my laptop and tried to take out a loan from my bank. wish i knew who they were.

Called to tell me that my computer was running slow and offered to take control of my laptop to show me how to cure the problem. I kept pestering HER with various questions in the middle of her "spill" eventually she hang up. Anyone reading this NEVER let anyone take control of your computer from a "cold" telephone call....
