Claimed to be some kind of broker / finance guy, we spoke a little while and we ended the conversation in a friendly way when I said I was not interested. I'm from Norway so don't really want to deal with a London based company when it comes to finance. I had a lot of phones from London lately (different numbers but probably related) which I have avoided / not answered. Let's hope answering this one stops the ringing.

Strong foreign accent asking me to confirm my name and address. I asked where got his information from. He proceeded to tell me he was doing a survey on household appliances. I asked again where he got his information from as I am TPS registered and ex directory. Also told him that I do not appreciate being questioned by unsolicited phone calls. He said something along the lines of, "Oh, TPS, this won't happen again". Very hard to understand fully. Suspect some sort of scam.

When I said that I already had it, the female caller responded that it was with them, and because I had not claimed for three years they we going to reduce it from the current £180.00. I immediately knew it must be a scam, so I pressed the 'Block now' Button on my call Blocker.

Just called me again on this number last time was 07940 911526. I informed him what I thought of his call and grilled him for information. I then called him a cold caller phishing for information and he called me stupid. So I mentioned if this was a real company he would be sacked by insulting a potential customer or client.
