Definitely a scam, automated call stating my National Insurance number was at risk of being put on hold due to it being linked to illegal activity.

Scam call - When I picked up nobody answered. After I said hello a few times I heard “Goodbye” and it hung up. When I called back it was an automated message telling me to hang up and delete the number. Very suspicious.

Called trying to arrange a survey of the property for Solar Panels, told that they were not trying to sell me anything (yeh right) but a surveyor just happens to be in the area. Made no mention of the fact that they were fined £80,000 last month by the ioc for lying to people over the phone.

I received a missed call from this number, when called back heard a musical tone (no ringing) answered straight away and knew my name as my number hadn't been blocked. Asked to whom I was speaking and was advised that it was the "Motor Investigation Bureau" regarding a recent minior incident. Fraud - Not sure who this was but when I answered there was nothing apart from a "call centre" background noise, when I said hello again they hung up. Appears to originate from India.
Similar to other comments - caller said he was from Microsoft and said my computer had been sending them warning messages. Wanted me to log on so he could fix it ! He was a bit confused when I said I only had Apple computers and not Microsoft and then hung up when I told him that I would refer this to Action Fraud!
