Dangerous HMRC SCAM DO NOT RESPOND
I couldn't understand the gentleman very well. He asked me to confirm my name and when I refused he became rather flustered. He asked me again and I said "No, you called me. You should know who I am." I asked what the company was called and was unable to understand the name but got a very round about explanation of them helping me with a PPI claim without actually mentioning those letters. Approx 10am 15 May 2012 unable answer a phone call received on my landline, no message left on ansaphone. Dialled 1471, caller had withheld their number. 10.22am text message from above number stating I could be entitled for up to ?4999.00 in compensatiion for missold PPI on credit cards or loan. Coincidence that both call came so close together.
