I asked for my number to be removed from database and not to call me again. They were still going on when I hung up. Now added to blocked list

A foreign gentleman called from this number 01223 691019, claiming to be from Virgin Media. He wanted access to my modem via my smartphone or computer to make updates. When I said that I had neither he started to get a little agitated. Also kept hinting towards a bad phone connection. This was a call to my landline. I don't know if this is a scam or not, but is very likely as Virgin probably wouldn't access your home internet via a 3rd party mobile phone company.
Constant harassment!! I’m a vulnerable adult & this number is constantly ringing my phone every couple of hours everyday & leaving voicemails that I can’t even understand & can’t even understand what they are saying. Unsolicited silent cold calling, we believe them to be scammers. Beware this number because they never leave a message on answerphone!!! Says it all, we have reported to Action Fraud - phising - police.
