I keep getting recorded calls asking if I want energy efficient replacement windows under a government scheme. At the end of the message there is an option to press a single digit number on your phone (I think 7) to be taken off the calling list. Having tried this a number of times but still receiving the calls I pressed number 5 to select a call back. Few days laterI had the call back from 01202080040. I’ve just called O2 myself (202 is free from your O2 mobile) after becoming concerned about the level of my account information the person on the 0330 number had access to while offering me deal on an Alcatel tablet. This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

The first call was something about winning £1000. Since yesterday I have had three calls from 0843 numbers which when I google them are for the same thing making it difficult to block them. I am wondering who passed my number on to them as I only give my number to companies who I am involved with and always refuse my details to be passed on to other parties.
