Called several times this weekend, silent line hangs up after a few seconds.
Automated call claiming to be Amazon.
Fraud. First time they called they say that a year’s subscription for Amazon Prime has been taken and to get it back you have to follow their instructions which gives them access to your account. Second time they said they are from Amazon and that someone has tried to buy something on your account. Very insistent and pushy. Asian accent.
Scammers pretending to be EE again, insisting I upgrade when I ve never even been a customer!

At best this a company that breaks the PECR regulations by calling people on the TPS list. At worst it s a scam preying on older people because they don t seem to have a website and are asking whether you re over 65. Person on the phone told him he was calling from HMRC, quoted some references that sounded legit, including the details of an arrest warrant because of unpaid taxes... But then when he tried to ask questions, person on the phone became really aggressive... Which only wound my partner up and made him ask more questions. Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.

I was called by number 090432929, not 09043967, and this number is from Great Britain? I don't know anybody from Great Britain! We keep getting calls from strangers who most likely just want to sell us something, but I don't even pick up the phone anymore when we receive such calls and the number is not from my hometown.
