I think this was a fraud check call from Bank of Scotland that I answered and was then transferred to the customer service dept which wasn t answered promptly. I hung up, but this resulted in a 27p charge for me. Not a lot, but a good scam if you manage it for a lot of people!
Automated call from so called bank, but too stupid to even say what bank it is from, stating there has been payments from your bank to amazon for £300 and international transfer.for £1350 , so second time i get the call i press number 2 to speak to someone and you get the stupid little Indian con man in call center somewhere in India, beware of this as it is a total con, I got this call 2 days in a row, probably get it tomorrow too lol

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Received a call on my mobile at around 11.30am, and was told I had a refund via PPI from a credit card or loan. Had to ask me which one and from which bank. I ve just been called by this number, when I picked up the call, there was no sound, no answer, so I ended the call, then got a withheld number calling literally a minute later, which went to voicemail (the message was unintelligable). Then a minute later I got an SMS to my mobile from 08447362490 asking them to call back on that number. Searching that number indicates it s from Link Financial Outsourcing, a debt collection company.
When I dialled the number it went straight to a voicemail asking me to record a message. Have blocked the number.

Received call form this number and called back to see who it was. Apparently it is the company that handles upgrades on behalf of T-Mobile. They had called me in error as I am with O2. No problems when I informed them of this.
SCAM - pretending to either be HMRC or other tax/ financial body. They pretend you are in trouble with law. HANG UP ON THEM. They are ringing me every day with no's ranging from 07900267439 to 07900267457 DRIVBING ME CRAZY!!!!!

Very elaborate work scam. This phone number will text saying there is a position in a US company to optimise apps. The website seems legit but once you do all they say. They will ask you to send them money to unblock the cryptomomey. Dont do it and report it.
