Call centre spam / scam. Said she was from a company called MEA (I think). Claiming there was an issue with a life insurance policy, so there would be a problem with a payout. I don't know the company or have a policy with them.

Was rung by this number - automatic voice message regarding my supposed visa account having no money in it, £95 aparantly taken. Cut off the call. Checked banking - no such issue. Scam call. Hard as its a local number so elderly when seeing number would possibly assume local bank.

SCAM automated message professing to be a Bank authorisation for £1100 to a gambling web site in California

This number called me claiming to be bank security and that 2 transactions had been requested from my bank. One for Amazon for £200 and an international money transfer for £900. Press 1 to authorise or hold if you haven't made these transactions. I hung up.

Scam. Only got last 20 secs of call as it went to answerphone, but it asked for confirmation of charges to Amazon and Moneytransfer, neither of which I've used! Also an option to speak to "Fraud Team" Do not reply to this con. If you have any reason to believe it's true, contact your bank (etc) either by visiting the branch or at least use email/web address that you know is correct, not supplied by this means. Stupid thick idiot criminals. This is a seemingly genuine number that has been taken over by scammers. Watch out. SCAM

SCAM pretending to be First Direct Fraud department, which it’s not. As soon as I said I would call FD back myself they hung up very fast. The number is similar to the First Direct number but is NOT legitimate. Do not give any details of any kind to them.

This number sent an OTP number for a purchase I didn’t make. I’m talking to my bank and they’re checking it out. I’d say be careful and don’t click on any links or numbers.

Automated voice recording claiming a letter has been returned to HMRC and legal action will be taken lol Smells like a scam from miles! I checked my HMRC account online and haven't got anything outstanding on there.
